The Suburban Hockey Foundation is a 501(C)(3) (Charitable Organization that serves to provide assistance to hockey families and programs in need in Michigan.

The goal of the Suburban Hockey Foundation is to provide support to individuals or families who are experiencing financial hardship so that participants can continue to play hockey or to provide financial support to programs that are providing children the opportunity to learn and play the game.

Hockey has been a significant part of the lives of everyone involved in Suburban Hockey since it began in 1974.  Hockey is a fast and exciting team sport that provides its participants with a fun and competitive experience and fosters an environment that allows players to learn and grow.  Helping to provide players with the opportunity to experience the game and its experiences is the inspiration for the Foundation.
