FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Suburban Hockey Foundation is proud to help facilitate the Megan Keller Growing Girls Hockey grant to provide financial assistance to a Michigan association to grow girls hockey participation from ages 6-12. Awards specific to this fund will be used exclusively to advertise, market, and minimize costs for participants.
“I’m extremely excited to be a part of the Suburban Hockey Foundation and introduce a grant dedicated to growing girls hockey throughout my home state of Michigan,” said Megan Keller, U.S. Olympic women’s hockey player. “Hockey has taken me all over the world, taught me numerous life lessons and most importantly has given me friendships that will last a lifetime. I hope this grant can help to provide the same opportunities and joy to the next generation that hockey has brought me.”
Please note that organizations applying for this grant must be USA Hockey registered associations in Michigan. The deadline to apply is August 31, 2022. The recipient of the grant will be notified by September 15, 2022.
The Suburban Hockey Foundation contributes to the growth of hockey in Michigan by providing financial support and assistance to hockey families and programs in need throughout the state.
